The path of the mills of Sillico

Ring from Castelnuovo di Garfagnana in the direction of Pieve Fosciana and then start climbing along the stream to the village itself and Silico. After a short stretch of hills with steep slopes, there is a recent construction of hydroelectric plant and from just behind this, 10min with portage walk the first part of the path Cai. After a short climb over, it begins to descend towards the mill where the Pilastrello exceeded a characteristic bridge in rope starts the ascent to the country. We walk the woods yet very well kept by the inhabitants of Sillico, riding on a soft green carpet that at some point it reduces becoming a single track fun. Once in the village, we stop for a visit and a good cup of coffee and then set off to reach the hermitage of Capraia paths where it begins a beautiful and well maintained trail that takes us back to the village. At this point you can make different choices down we can safely explore with as you wish Biker but be assured that none of these trail disappoint!
